Which slaves make wine into יין נסך, and a case of wine stirred by a גוי in מחוזא.

Overview

The amud finishes quoting a ברייתא about slaves who were circumcised but not yet immersed. Their spittle and the things they tread on are impure (some say pure). The adults among them make wine into יין נסך, and the minors do not. The גמרא challenges an earlier view from this ברייתא, because it seems to say that once slaves are circumcised and immersed they no longer forbid wine. It answers that this leniency is about בני שפחות, who were raised in a Jewish home. A back-and-forth over the word "וכן" ends with the lesson that slaves follow the same adult/minor rule as בני שפחות. This rejects רב, who held that even a one-day-old baby makes wine into יין נסך. The גמרא then tells of a גוי in מחוזא who stirred wine in a Jew's store, and the owner angrily poured it into a barrel. רבא allowed the barrel to be sold to גוים, while רב הונא בר חיננא and רב הונא בר רב נחמן forbade it, and both courts announced their rulings with שופר blasts.
