Overview

רב זביד's ברייתא says that when a seller points to 'this' cellar, the buyer accepts up to ten souring barrels per hundred, and that this is the משנה's case. So the גמרא now reads the משנה as a 'this' case too. That clashes with the first ברייתא, where 'this' cellar lets the seller give shop-quality wine. The גמרא resolves it: רב זביד's ברייתא is where the buyer said the wine is for a cooked dish (מקפה), and the first ברייתא is where he did not. It then lists the rules for three cases. רב אחא and רבינא argue about the fourth case, 'a' cellar with no mention of מקפה. Each side draws on a different ברייתא and answers the challenge from the other one. The גמרא then turns to the ברכה over shop wine. רב יהודה says it gets בורא פרי הגפן, and רב זביד limits a ברייתא that gives שהכל to cheap grape-seed wine. אביי asks רב יוסף whether he follows רב יהודה or רב חסדא, and רב יוסף says he knows a ברייתא, which is quoted on the next amud.
