מוסף for an individual, forgetting ראש חודש in the עמידה, the end of the chapter תפלת השחר, and the new משנה about praying with כובד ראש.
Overview
The amud opens as שמואל finishes saying that he prayed מוסף alone only once, on a day when no community prayer took place in נהרדעא. That fits רבי יהודה's view, in the name of רבי אלעזר בן עזריה, that an individual in a town with a חבר עיר is exempt from מוסף. רבי ינאי sharply rejects that view. רבי יוחנן testifies that he saw רבי ינאי pray twice, and the proof survives a challenge. Another tradition, from רב, says the הלכה does follow רבי יהודה. A story about רבי חייא בר אבא praying twice leads to a rule: an individual who forgets ראש חודש repeats the עמידה, though in ערבית nobody repeats, in any month. After the הדרן, the new chapter's משנה teaches that one may begin to pray only with כובד ראש, and that one does not interrupt the prayer even for a king or a snake. The גמרא tests several פסוקים as the source and settles on 'עבדו את ה׳ ביראה'. It then shows through stories that joy must always come with some trembling.

and the rabbis were preoccupied and did not pray,
וְצַלִּי לִי בְּיָחִיד,
and I prayed as an individual,
