The end of the נובלות discussion, then עולא's limit on the מחלוקת between רבי יהודה and רבנן about which food gets the first ברכה, and the challenge to עולא from the ברייתא of the radish (צנון) and olive (זית).
Overview
First the גמרא finishes the earlier discussion of נובלות. It raises a wording problem for the view that they are sun-burned dates, and that problem stays unanswered (קשיא). Then it turns to the משנה about many foods in front of a person. עולא says רבי יהודה and רבנן argue only when the foods share one ברכה; when the ברכות differ, everyone agrees each food gets its own ברכה. A ברייתא about a radish and an olive seems to challenge עולא. The גמרא answers by reading the ברייתא as missing words (חסורי מחסרא), so that it fits עולא exactly. Next, רבי אמי and רבי יצחק נפחא argue whether the מחלוקת also applies when the ברכות differ, and רבי ירמיה explains that it would then be about which ברכה comes first. This order is based on the פסוק of the שבעת המינים. רבי חנן reads that פסוק as teaching שיעורין instead, and the גמרא begins listing the measure each species teaches. That list continues on the next amud.
Opening lines
Granted, according to the one who says they are wind-fallen dates,
that is why here it calls them plain 'novelot',
and there it calls them 'temara' (novelot of the date palm),
but according to the one who says they are dates burned by the heat,
The steps (18)

- ChallengeA ברייתא: the radish's ברכה covers the olive
- ResolutionThe radish is the main food
- ChallengeThen why would רבי יהודה bless the olive?
- ResolutionThe ברייתא is missing words, so the dispute is about a different case
- Statementרבי אמי and רבי יצחק נפחא disagree on the scope of the dispute
- ChallengeWhat could they argue about if two blessings are needed anyway?
- ResolutionThey argue about which blessing comes first
