The father's rights over his daughter (earnings, נדרים, גט, produce) and the husband's rights to her dowry

Overview

The amud opens by finishing an earlier point: a father gets the things his daughter finds so there will be no bad feeling (איבה). It then asks where we learn that her earnings (מעשה ידיה) belong to her father. רב הונא in the name of רב learns it from the פסוק about selling a daughter as an אמה. The גמרא asks whether this covers only a קטנה, whom he can sell, and not a נערה. A logical proof from the father's right to marry her off is knocked down by רב אחאי. In the end the גמרא shows that a קטנה needs no פסוק, so the פסוק must be teaching about a נערה. Next, the גמרא gives the sources for the father cancelling her נדרים and receiving her גט. Then it explains a dispute about whether a father eats the produce of her property, which turns on whether he needs that reward to ransom her. Last, it brings a dispute about a promised dowry when a bride dies during אירוסין, and starts comparing it to the argument of רבי אלעזר בן עזריה and the Rabbis; that comparison continues on the next amud.
