סמיכה and תנופה with partners and on slaughtered animals, then the kneading, baking and molds of the שתי הלחם and the לחם הפנים.
Overview
The amud opens with the end of a משנה: תנופה (waving) reaches further than סמיכה (placing hands), because it applies to slaughtered and non-living items too. A ברייתא learns from the word "קׇרְבָּנוֹ" that every owner of a קרבן must do סמיכה. Without that word, a קל וחומר from תנופה would have taught that one partner is enough. The גמרא then flips the קל וחומר to say every partner should also wave. It answers that this cannot be done: waving together creates a חציצה, and the תורה says one תנופה, not many. Next, a משנה about the כהן גדול leaning on slaughtered limbs seems to show סמיכה after שחיטה. אביי answers that this leaning is only for the כהן גדול's honor. The פרק שתי מדות then ends. A new משנה teaches how the שתי הלחם and the לחם הפנים are kneaded, baked, and kept in molds, and the גמרא finds פסוקים for these rules and explains the three molds. The amud ends by asking what shape the לחם הפנים had, and the answer comes on the next amud.
Opening lines
בְּחַיִּים וּבִשְׁחוּטִין,
with live animals and with slaughtered ones,
וּבְדָבָר שֶׁיֵּשׁ בּוֹ רוּחַ חַיִּים
and with something that has a living spirit
וּבְדָבָר שֶׁאֵין בּוֹ רוּחַ חַיִּים,
and with something that has no living spirit,
מַה שֶּׁאֵין כֵּן בַּסְּמִיכָה.
which is not so with placing hands.
