The 'light prohibition' of אשת איש, and the different explanations of רבי יוסי's rule 'whoever disqualifies others disqualifies himself'
Overview
The גמרא finishes explaining a ברייתא that used a קל וחומר. רבא, רבי יוחנן and a ברייתא from אבא חנן all say the 'light prohibition' there is אשת איש. It is called 'light' only because the husband can end it. The פסוק 'אותה' then blocks the קל וחומר: a man who sleeps with his wife's sister does not make his wife forbidden to him. Next the גמרא asks what רבי יוסי meant by 'whoever disqualifies others disqualifies himself.' Two simple guesses fail on the wording. רבי אמי then ties the rule to remarrying by permission of the בית דין versus based on עדים, and רבי יצחק נפחא ties it to a full wife versus a betrothed woman. שמואל rules like רבי יוסי, and רב יוסף objects from שמואל's view about a יבמה. אביי begins answering that שמואל may have meant a different reading or only part of the rule, and his answer continues on the next amud.

אֶלָּא אָמַר רָבָא: אֵשֶׁת אִישׁ.
Rather, Rava said: a married woman.

And similarly, when Ravin came,
אָמַר רַבִּי יוֹחָנָן: אֵשֶׁת אִישׁ.
he said that Rabbi Yoḥanan said: a married woman.
וּמַאי קָרֵי לַהּ ״אִיסּוּר קַל״ —
And why does he call it 'a light prohibition'?
