This amud first finishes a discussion about the water of the כיור. The גמרא tries to prove it must be מים חיים, then answers that this is a dispute between תנאים: רבי ישמעאל requires spring water, and the חכמים allow any water. Next the גמרא asks for the source that a ערל כהן disqualifies the עבודה. רב חסדא says it comes from פסוקים in יחזקאל, not from the תורה of משה. A ברייתא explains that the פסוק includes both a ערל לב and a ערל בשר, and the גמרא shows why both had to be written. Then the גמרא turns to a טמא כהן. The זקני דרום say only a טמא שרץ disqualifies, while a טמא מת כהן's service is accepted. Through a series of challenges, including a קל וחומר from ריש לקיש, the גמרא clarifies their views about the פסח of a טמא owner.
