Resolving two conflicting ברייתות about eating קדשים when the מזבח or משכן is not standing
Overview
The גמרא has been dealing with two ברייתות that seem to contradict each other. One says the meat of קרבנות may not be eaten at a certain time, and the other says it may be eaten 'in two locations.' The גמרא gives two different answers. First, the ברייתות follow two different opinions: רבי ישמעאל and the רבנן. Second, both ברייתות may be about קדשי קדשים, with no disagreement at all. In that second answer, 'two locations' is explained by timing, starting with the time before the לויים set up the משכן. The rest of that explanation continues right after these words.
Opening lines
הָא רַבִּי יִשְׁמָעֵאל, הָא רַבָּנַן.
This one follows Rabbi Yishmael; that one follows the Rabbis.
וְאִיבָּעֵית אֵימָא:
And if you wish, say:
הָא וְהָא בְּקׇדְשֵׁי קָדָשִׁים;
Both this and that are about offerings of the most sacred order;
וּמַאי בִּשְׁנֵי מְקוֹמוֹת –
and what does 'in two locations' mean?
