Which כתובה payments are valid: the minor husband or convert, and the order of priority between two wives and their heirs.
Overview
The amud opens by finishing an earlier case. A woman holds both a גט and a כתובה from the same husband. If the גט is dated first, she collects two כתובות. If the כתובה is dated first, she collects only one. Next a משנה rules that the כתובה of a husband who married as a קטן, or of a גר who converted together with his wife, stays valid. רב הונא limits this to the basic מנה or מאתיים, while רב יהודה says she collects the תוספת too. A ברייתא refutes רב יהודה, and the גמרא explains that the משנה's words misled him. After the הדרן, a new chapter begins with a משנה on which of two wives, or their heirs, collects first from a dead husband's estate. The גמרא tries in two opposite versions to learn from the משנה's wording whether a later creditor who collected first keeps what he took. Each attempt is pushed back, and the second rejection finishes on the next amud.
