Kiddushin 36b: Finishing the sources for the Temple services in the משנה that only men do (קבלה, הזאה), and starting on the exception of מנחת סוטה and מנחת נזירה, which the women themselves wave.
Overview
The משנה listed Temple services that only male כהנים do, not women, except for the מנחת סוטה and the מנחת נזירה, which the women wave themselves. The גמרא finishes the source for קבלת הדם. Then it asks which הזאה the משנה means. It rules out the פרה אדומה and the inner sprinklings, and settles on the sprinkling of a bird offering, proved by a קל וחומר from a sheep offering. Next it turns to the exception. רבי אלעזר asks רבי יאשיה where we learn that the owner herself waves the מנחת סוטה. The answer is a גזירה שוה of 'יד' from שלמים: the כהן and the owner both wave, with the כהן's hand under the owner's hand. The נזירה is then learned from the סוטה through the word 'כף'. Finally, a new משנה begins: מצוות that depend on the land apply only in ארץ ישראל, and all others apply everywhere.
