Closing רבי יוסי's view on impurity and the full זבה, then the new perek מי שאמר: when a נזיר shaves, how two terms are counted, and טומאה at the end of a term
Overview
The גמרא finishes a talk between רבי אושעיא and רבי יוחנן. רבי אושעיא says רבי יוסי agrees that the impurity counts only from now on. The גמרא asks how that fits רבי יוסי's ruling that the impurity is retroactive. It answers that the retroactive impurity is only מדרבנן. Next it asks how רבי יוסי, who holds that part of a day counts as a whole day, can ever have a full זבה. It gives two answers: a nonstop flow for three days, or seeing right before sunset each day. Then the perek הריני נזיר closes, and a new perek opens. A plain נזיר shaves on day 31, and day 30 also works. One who said 'thirty days' outright does not fulfill his נזירות by shaving on day 30. The משנה also explains how someone with two terms of נזירות counts his shaving days, and רבי פפייס testifies that day 30 counts toward the second term. Finally the משנה rules on a נזיר who becomes טמא near the end of his term, where רבי אליעזר argues for leniency. The גמרא begins discussing that case.
