Attaching to another's vow (התפסה): does one attach to the original state or the later state? This is applied to a woman 'in your footsteps' and to a husband's 'and I' and 'I am a נזיר, and you'.
Overview
Before this section, the גמרא asked about a woman who attached herself to another woman's נזירות, after which the first woman's husband annulled the first vow. מר זוטרא says this is the same as רמי בר חמא's question: when someone vows 'like the flesh of a שלמים', does he mean the meat's early forbidden state or its later permitted state? The גמרא first says the cases are different, and then brings another version that says they are certainly the same. Next it asks what happens if the second woman said 'I am a נזירה in your footsteps'. It tries to answer from the משנה's case of a husband who says 'and I' to his wife's vow and cannot annul it. The proof is rejected, because 'and I' counts as upholding her vow, so the husband case proves nothing. Finally the גמרא sets the משנה's case 'I am a נזיר, and you' against a ברייתא that seems to rule differently. רב יהודה changes the ברייתא's wording to match the משנה, while אביי keeps it and says the ברייתא is a case where the husband made his vow depend on hers.
Opening lines
מָר זוּטְרָא בְּרֵיהּ דְּרַב מָרִי אָמַר:
Mar Zutra, son of Rav Mari, said:
הַאי, הַיְינוּ דְּרָמִי בַּר חָמָא.
This is the same as [the question] of Rami bar Chama.
דְּבָעֵי רָמֵי בַּר חָמָא:
For Rami bar Chama asked:
״הֲרֵי עָלַי כִּבְשַׂר זֶבַח שְׁלָמִים״, מַהוּ?
"This is upon me like the flesh of a peace-offering": what is the law?
