Which camps a מצורע, זב and בעל קרי must leave: testing a קל וחומר, רבי יהודה vs. רבי שמעון, and support for רבי יוחנן

Overview

The גמרא first finishes an earlier answer: a זב can also become impure באונס, as רב הונא teaches about his first sighting. It then tests a קל וחומר about which camps a מצורע must leave. Each attempt is met with 'אדרבה'. A זב has his own strictnesses. The extra word in 'וכל זב' brings in a בעל קרי, but he seems stricter too, since he becomes impure from any amount. Following רבי נתן, a בעל קרי needs a minimum amount, so the קל וחומר stands. The גמרא explains that 'וכל צרוע' is written only to match 'וכל זב'. It also explains that רבי יהודה does not learn the three camps from the פסוק like רבי שמעון, because he needs it for רבי אליעזר's rule about פסח הבא בטומאה. Finally, the דרשה that 'וכל זב' includes a בעל קרי supports רבי יוחנן, who says a בעל קרי is sent outside two camps. A teaching comparing a בעל קרי to מגע שרץ is explained as being about impurity באונס, not camps, and a new objection begins at the end of the amud.
