Limiting a big eater or splitting a חבורה, and money received for a share in a קרבן

Overview

The משנה rules that if a member of a פסח group adds an outsider to his own share, the group may give him just his portion, and he eats it with the outsider. The גמרא asks whether a group may tell a member with 'fine hands' (a big eater) to take his share and leave. Two proofs, from our משנה and from the משנה about the שמש by the oven, are each rejected. A ברייתא then rules clearly that the group may limit him, even at an ordinary friendly meal (סיבולת). A second version (איכא דאמרי) reads the same ברייתא to teach that a חבורה may split up only for a real reason. A story follows: רב הונא בריה דרב יהושע pressed רב פפא with these sources until רב פפא divided the bread, and later רב הונא joked about eating with רבינא. Finally, a ברייתא teaches that money taken for a share in a פסח or חגיגה is חולין, while selling an עולה or שלמים is void and the money goes to נדבה as a קנס. עולא then asks how the money's holiness can pass onto a lamb that is already הקדש.
