מיאון by a minor: refusing the זיקה, refusing one יבם, the בית שמאי and בית הלל rules for how מיאון is done, and which minor needs מיאון
Overview
The amud opens by asking whether a minor יבמה can use מיאון to cancel the זיקה. One view says she can undo the יבם's own acts but not the bond the תורה places on her. עולא says she can, because her refusal uproots the first marriage. רבא challenges עולא from the case of a צרת ערוה. The גמרא answers with a rabbinic rule about how she looked at the time of נפילה. רב, שמואל, רב אסי and רבי יוחנן then argue whether refusing one יבם forbids her to his brothers or even to him. Next the גמרא goes through the משנה's disputes between בית שמאי and בית הלל: whether the husband must be present (the story of פישון הגמל), how many people must be there (the הלכה is that two are enough), and why she would refuse twice. A new משנה asks which minor needs מיאון at all, with views based on consent, maturity, and whether the holdup comes from the man. The גמרא begins by describing the original long wording of a written refusal, and the shorter wording comes on the next amud.
