Why both wives do חליצה; רבא on a גט cancelling a מאמר; the two-sisters משנה and whether one איסור takes effect on top of another

Overview

The גמרא finishes explaining why both wives of one household do חליצה. If one wife had יבום and the other חליצה, a man might do חליצה first and then יבום, and the תורה forbids building a house he already refused to build. רבא then rules on a גט given to cancel a מאמר. In one version only the צרה becomes permitted. In another, even the woman herself is permitted, because the גט wipes out the מאמר. A new משנה teaches that if two brothers married two sisters and one brother died, his widow is forbidden forever, since she was forbidden for one moment as אחות אשה. The גמרא explains why this משנה is needed even though it seems obvious: it was taught first and was never moved. A ברייתא then brings a dispute between רבי יוסי and רבי שמעון about which איסורים he breaks if he lives with her. The גמרא explains רבי שמעון's view by the order of the marriages and רב אשי's idea of a suspended איסור. It then challenges whether רבי יוסי really holds that one איסור can take effect on top of another, and that discussion continues on the next amud.

אִי דִּמְיַיבֵּם וַהֲדַר חָלֵיץ

If he does yibum and then does chalitza,

הָכִי נָמֵי.

indeed, so it is (there is no problem).
