The end of the צריכותא about where the fire for the קטורת is taken from, and רבי מאיר's ruling (via בר קפרא) that leftover limbs of a עולה get their own מערכה, even on שבת. The ruling is explained as referring to פסולין, but only when the fire has already caught them.
Overview
This amud opens by finishing an earlier צריכותא: both 'מעל המזבח' and 'מלפני ה'' are needed, so fire for the קטורת may be taken even from the sides of the מזבח. Then רבי אלעזר quotes בר קפרא: רבי מאיר said that leftover limbs of a עולה get their own מערכה, even on שבת. The גמרא asks what this adds to the משנה's four מערכות. רבי אבין answers that it teaches the rule even for פסולין. The גמרא then limits this to limbs that the fire has already caught, and gives a second version that applies this limit to valid limbs as well. Next the גמרא asks why 'even on שבת' was needed, since the משנה already has five מערכות on יום הכפורים. רב אחא בר יעקב gives an answer, but רבא rejects it because the משנה says 'every day', and the difficulty stays as a קשיא. The גמרא notes that this view disagrees with רב הונא, who holds that the end of the תמיד service does not override. רב חסדא and רבה disagree about what רב הונא meant: שבת or טומאה. אביי challenges both of them from the word 'במועדו'. רבה begins his defense with 'סופו כתחילתו', and his reply continues on the next amud.
Opening lines
אֲבָל מֵהַאי גִּיסָא
but from this side
וּמֵהַאי גִּיסָא אֵימָא לָא,
or from that side, I would say no,
צְרִיכָא.
therefore it is necessary (to write both).

Rabbi Elazar said in the name of bar Kappara:
The steps (19)
- ConclusionBoth phrases are needed so fire can be taken from the sides too
- StatementLeftover limbs of a burnt-offering get their own arrangement, even on Shabbat
- ChallengeWhy teach this when the משנה already lists four arrangements?
- ResolutionThe teaching is about limbs of disqualified offerings
- StatementOnly when the fire has already caught them
- StatementA second version: valid or disqualified, only if the fire took hold
- ChallengeWhy say 'even on שבת' when the משנה already teaches it?
- Resolutionרב אחא בר יעקב: we might have limited it to יום הכפורים right after שבת
- Rejectionרבא: the משנה already says 'every day'
- ConclusionThe difficulty stands
- StatementThis view conflicts with רב הונא
- StatementRestating רב הונא's rule for closer study
- QuestionWhat does 'does not override' mean?
- Responseרב חסדא: it overrides שבת but not טומאה
- Responseרבה: it overrides טומאה but not שבת
- Challengeאביי's challenge: the word 'במועדו' covers שבת too
- Challengeאביי challenges רב חסדא using the same verse
- Resolutionרבה declares that neither view is difficult
- Resolutionרבה's defense: the end of the service is like its beginning
