What a ממאנת, a שניה and an איילונית lose when they leave a marriage: the dispute about the כתובה, worn-out property, and the basic כתובה versus the תוספת
Overview
This amud finishes שמואל's list of differences between a girl who leaves her marriage by מיאון and one who leaves with a גט. The גמרא explains that his real new point is the three-month wait. Next it asks whether רב and שמואל, who argue about whether a ממאנת gets a כתובה, are repeating the dispute between רבי אליעזר and רבי יהושע. It concludes that both follow רבי יהושע and only read him differently. Then the גמרא turns to worn-out property (בלאות). שמואל's split between נכסי מלוג and נכסי צאן ברזל fits only the שניה, where the חכמים penalized both spouses. From this, רב שימי בר אשי learns that a cloak a wife brings is principal, and רב נחמן disagrees. Finally, שמואל teaches that 'no כתובה' means only the basic 100 or 200, not the תוספת, and a ברייתא confirms it. The ברייתא's last line supports רב הונא, whose statement continues on the next amud.
