Whose view the משנה follows, רבי יוחנן's rules on the lineage of non-Jews and converts, and the source that קידושין do not take hold with עריות
Overview
The גמרא finishes testing whether the משנה follows רבי יהודה or רבי יוסי. It concludes that a repeated phrase like 'כל מקום' can be there just to keep the wording consistent, so the משנה can fit רבי יוסי. Then it explains רבי יוחנן's rule, reported by רבין. Among non-Jews, the child follows the father, as a ברייתא about buying slaves shows. Once the parents convert, the child follows the more flawed parent, as in an עמוני man married to an מצרית woman. Next, the גמרא looks for the source that קידושין do not take hold with close relatives, starting from 'והיתה לאיש אחר'. After several back-and-forths, that פסוק is used up on אחות אשה. A comparison to her fails for אשת אח and אשת איש, so a הקש from ויקרא 18:29 ties all the עריות to אחות אשה. The amud ends as the גמרא begins a new challenge to that הקש.
