The flour measures of the תודה breads, and which kinds of מצה the מילואים and the נזיר bring.
Overview
The amud opens by finishing a discussion of the flour for the breads of the קרבן תודה. רב יצחק בר אבדימי finds a hint for ten עשרונים for the חמץ loaves in the spelling of ״תהיינה״. The ברייתא then learns ten for the מצה loaves from the חמץ loaves. The גמרא defends this against the rule that something learned by a היקש may not teach by another היקש, and it gives two answers. A new משנה follows. It teaches that the מילואים came with the three kinds of מצה of the תודה, while the נזיר brings only two kinds (no רבוכה), which totals ten Jerusalem קבין. The גמרא looks for a source that the מילואים included רבוכה, and it finds one in a היקש between חינוך and the anointing day. Along the way רב חסדא and מר בר רב אשי discuss how many עשרונים a new כהן גדול brings, and the גמרא shows that they do not really disagree. Finally a ברייתא links the נזיר's loaves to the תודה through ״שלמיו״ and limits the link with ״מצות״. רב פפא and דבי רבי ישמעאל each explain why the רבוכה is left out.
