פסח שני and פסח brought in טומאה: which laws carry over, הלל, overriding טומאה, and who is liable for eating or entering
Overview
This amud finishes the כלל ופרט reading of the פסוק about פסח שני. The ban on eating the קרבן raw (נא) applies to פסח שני, but the ban on slaughtering it while owning חמץ does not, because a law about the offering itself takes priority. The גמרא then explains the משנה's rules on הלל: there is no הלל at the פסח שני meal because that night is not a יום טוב, but הלל is said while slaughtering both offerings. Next it shows that our משנה, which holds that פסח שני does not override טומאה, goes against רבי יהודה, and it explains the reasoning of each side. A ברייתא that equates the two offerings is assigned to רבי יהודה, and a contradiction about לינה is resolved by saying two תנאים reported his view differently. A new משנה teaches that זבין, זבות, נדות and יולדות may not eat a פסח brought in טומאה but are exempt from כרת, and רבי אליעזר exempts them even for entering the מקדש. The גמרא brings the פסוקים behind both rulings. רב יוסף then asks whether טמאי מתים may enter the היכל, and רבא answers in two opposite versions. Finally רב יוסף begins a question about טמאים eating the אימורים, which continues on the next amud.
