Who is kept from the קרבן פסח and from holy food: the ערל, the בן נכר, the אונן, and a baby not yet due for מילה

Overview

This amud finishes explaining the extra words in the פסח פסוקים. The word בו teaches that a משומד is kept from the קרבן פסח but not from מעשר, and that a ערל is kept from the פסח but still eats מצה and מרור. The גמרא explains why the תורה had to mention both the ערל and the בן נכר, and says the two words ממנו are needed for a teaching of רבה in the name of רבי יצחק. Next it looks at רבי עקיבא, who learns from "איש איש" that a ערל may not eat holy food. The גמרא asks why that phrase includes the ערל and not the אונן, and decides for ערלות, either because it has more reasons or, as רבא says, because "איש" points to something found only in men. The גמרא then shows what each תנא does with "תושב ושכיר" and "איש איש". Finally, רב חמא בר עוקבא asks whether a baby too young for מילה counts as a ערל for oil of תרומה. רבי זירא tries to prove it from a ברייתא about the קרבן פסח, but רבא pushes the proof aside, and the back-and-forth continues on the next amud.
