The צריכותא of the three פסח פסוקים, מבוג's teaching on נחשון's חטאת, changing between kinds of חטאת or owners, and intent from one עבודה to another
Overview
The amud opens by finishing an earlier discussion. Three פסוקים teach that a leftover קרבן פסח is brought as a שלמים, and the גמרא shows that each one is needed for a different situation of the animal. Next, רב quotes מבוג about a חטאת slaughtered for the sake of נחשון's חטאת. רב משרשיא challenges the first version from a ברייתא about מנחות. The גמרא then reworks מבוג's teaching several times, ending with two versions that both treat נחשון's חטאת as an עולה. רב rules on a חטאת for חלב slaughtered in the name of other kinds of חטאת, and רבא asks about the חטאת for טומאת מקדש. רב אחא בריה דרבא teaches that every such change makes the offering פסולה, and moves רבא's teachings over to a change of owner. רבא's question ends in תיקו. Finally, רבי יוחנן and ריש לקיש argue about a חטאת slaughtered לשמה with a plan to sprinkle its blood שלא לשמה, and the גמרא begins to show that each follows his usual reasoning, a point that continues on the next amud.
Opening lines
חַד לְעִיבְּרָה זְמַנּוֹ וְעִיבְּרָה שְׁנָתוֹ,
One verse is for where its time passed and its year passed,
וְחַד לְעִיבְּרָה זְמַנּוֹ וְלֹא שְׁנָתוֹ,
and one is for where its time passed but not its year,
וְחַד לְלֹא עִיבְּרָה לֹא זְמַנּוֹ וְלֹא שְׁנָתוֹ.
and one is for where neither its time nor its year passed.
וּצְרִיכִי; דְּאִי כְּתַב רַחֲמָנָא חַד,
And they are needed; for if the Merciful One had written only one,
